The Summer Festival is a four-month program of hands-on workshops held across Sydney, focusing on different photography styles such as fashion, street, portraiture, swimwear, and creative concepts.
2. Who can attend the workshops?
Our workshops are open to photographers of all levels—from beginners looking to build confidence with their camera to experienced photographers wanting to expand their portfolio.
3. Where will the workshops take place?
Workshops will be hosted at iconic Sydney locations, including beaches, city streets, parks, and rooftop venues. Each session is carefully curated to provide unique backdrops and creative opportunities.
4. How do I book a workshop?
Bookings can be made online through our website. Simply select your preferred workshop date and theme, then complete your registration and payment securely via Stripe or PayPal.
5. What do I need to bring?
Bring your own camera (DSLR, mirrorless, or advanced compact), charged batteries, memory cards, and any lenses you’d like to use. A notebook and water bottle are also recommended.
6. Do I need prior photography experience? Can I use my phone?
Not at all—each workshop is designed to accommodate different skill levels. Our instructors provide guidance tailored to your experience, so you’ll learn and create at your own pace. Yes you can use your phone.
7. Will models or subjects be provided?
Yes, many workshops feature professional models, styled shoots, or live subjects, so participants can focus on building their portfolio in real-world scenarios.
8. Can I attend multiple workshops?
Absolutely! Many participants book a series of workshops across the summer. We also offer multi-pass options for those who want to join several sessions at a discounted rate.
9. What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
If the weather is forecast for rain, the workshop is cancelled and you can have a credit or refund. Cancellation is typically decided 48 hours before the workshop.
10. Are refunds available if I can’t attend?
If you are a pass holder and you notify us no less than 72 hours before the workshop that you cannot make it, you can have a credit for another workshop (in the case of monthly passes the credit must be used within the month of your pass, ie; November)
If you are a ticket holder only, you may transfer the space to someone only
11. Do the models sign releases?
Yes the models sign releases outlining their use for social media accounts of the photographers and promotion of the photographers work. You cannot sell the images to stock libraries or agencies or use them for advertising of any product.
